BIGA demonstrates indigenous games at ABSU’s golden jubilee celebration
Kokrajhar: A group of players from Bodoland Indigenous Games Association (BIGA) demonstrated “Khomlainai” , “Gila” and “Dahal Thungri Sibnai” during the celebration of Golden Jubilee of the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) held at Jangkrithai Fwthar, Kokrajhar from February 12 to 15, 2017. The traditional game arena was inaugurated by the Council Head of the Department (CHD), Sports and Youth Welfare, BTC-Jajnabati Mohilary. The traditional game arena witnessed huge turn up of people and they applauded the efforts of BIGA to preserve and promote the indigenous games.
